How It All Started

My love for lake travel grew from personal experience—vacations with my husband and our two boys, chasing adventure in places like Lake of the Ozarks, Grand Lake, Table Rock Lake, and beyond. My husband, Jeffrey, actually grew up at Lake of the Ozarks, and both sets of our kids’ grandparents live on lakes—so let’s just say lake life runs deep in our family. Whether our boys like it or not, we’re raising them to appreciate the joy of jumping off docks, catching fireflies, and soaking up the slower pace of lake trips.

After years of planning memorable trips for my own family and friends, I realized I wanted to help others find that same magic. That’s when I because a certified travel advisor with FORA Travel. I decided to specialize in helping clients discover the best lake destinations in the U.S.—from luxury resorts and cozy cabins to houseboats, hidden coves, and waterfront restaurants you’d never find in a brochure.
